By downloading, installing, or using DataBaste ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DataBaste is a recipe management application that allows you to:

• Store and organize recipes
• Generate recipes using AI
• Create meal plans and grocery lists
• Import recipes from various sources
• Back up data to iCloud

3. User Accounts

DataBaste does not require you to create an account. The App functions entirely on your device without registration. If you choose to use iCloud backup, you will need an Apple ID, which is governed by Apple's terms and conditions.

4. Your Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all recipes, notes, and other content you create or import into DataBaste ("Your Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights to Your Content.

4.2 Responsibility

You are responsible for Your Content, including:

• Ensuring you have the right to use any recipes you import
• Respecting copyright and intellectual property of recipe authors
• The accuracy of any nutritional information you add

4.3 Recipe Import

DataBaste supports importing recipes from select websites that provide structured recipe data (such as AllRecipes, Food Network, and similar sites). When importing recipes:

• Import is available only from supported recipe sites
• Imported recipes are for your personal use only
• We encourage you to credit original recipe creators when sharing

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Nature of AI Content

Recipes generated by DataBaste's AI features are created algorithmically and should be used with care:

• AI-generated recipes may contain errors or unusual combinations
• Always use your judgment when preparing food
• Check for allergens and dietary restrictions manually

5.2 No Warranty

We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or quality of AI-generated recipes. Use them at your own discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent any technical limitations or security measures
• Use the App to infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

7.1 In-App Purchases

DataBaste may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. These are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms.

7.2 Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

7.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

DataBaste, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

8.2 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any damages arising from your use of AI-generated recipes
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App

11. Food Safety Disclaimer

DataBaste is a recipe organization tool, not a food safety or nutrition authority:

• Always follow proper food safety guidelines when cooking
• Verify cooking temperatures and times from authoritative sources
• Check ingredients for allergens before consuming
• Consult healthcare professionals for dietary advice

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DataBaste regarding your use of the App.
